Cuando rememoramos nuestra infancia, adolescencia o juventud siempre nos viene a la memoria la figura de aquel gamberro, el chaval sabelotodo de turno que a la mínima que le llevaras la contraria ¡zas, en toda la boca o el cogote en su defecto! También existía en aquel patio de colegio o parque de barriada el proyecto de héroe caballeroso que ayudaba a los más débiles porque simple y llanamente había probado de ser una macarra y fracasó. Estos rufianes reconvertidos o gamberros con alma han sido y serán el salvoconducto de los panolis hacia la rutina en la que se convertirá sus vidas.
James Dean interpreta a la perfección esa clase de intrépido guerrero antisistema juvenil y acomplejado por la dudosa moral paterna y la iterativa mala suerte propia del desdichado joven ingenuo. Su actuación es colosal, provocando angustia e ira, reflejando ternura y amor verdadero, el amor que nada pide a cambio y que se da porque a uno le sobra. Sus continuas alegaciones a la verdad o a la sinceridad que espera recibir muestran un personaje inmaduro por fuera pero extremadamente reposado e inteligente por dentro.
El argumento es lo suficientemente estable e interesante como para mantener una buena tensión hasta el final. Los secundarios están todos bien, aunque destacaría el personaje de Platón. El tema más recurrente tratado en Rebelde Sin Causa es sin duda el de la desidia y poca vergüenza que tiene los padres. Nadie duda que los padres quieren a los hijos, es más, ni siquiera que los adoren en extremo. Sin embargo, muchos no están preparados para criar a un vástago, se ven superados en los primeros momentos, en los segundos y en los terceros. Esta película muestra la dificultad que supone intentar cortar las alas a muchachos y muchachas faltos de autoridad, carentes de valores pero sobre todo necesitados de atención, comprensión y cariño.
Vale la pena ver a este rebelde con yo diría muchas causas para serlo, en un film digno de analizar y apropiado para un público que quiera disfrutar de la interpretación masculina en estado puro.

Your continued claims to truth or sincerity that expects a character show immature on the outside but extremely relaxed and smart inside.
The argument is stable enough and interesting enough to keep a good tension to the end. The side are all good, but emphasize the character of Plato. The most recurrent theme treated in Rebel Without a Cause is without doubt the shameless neglect and having parents. No one doubts that parents want their children, indeed, not even worship in the end. However, many are not prepared to raise a stem, are overwhelmed at first, in the second and third. This film shows the difficulty of trying to clip the wings of boys and girls lack of authority, lack of values but especially in need of care, understanding and affection.
Worth seeing this rebel with many causes I would be in a film worthy of analysis and appropriate for an audience that wants to enjoy the male performance in a pure state.
